Evening Steam Trains at the Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway – 22 June
Evening Steam Trains at the Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway
On the evening of Friday 22 June why not enjoy a relaxing steam train journey along the foreshore, through the wooded incline and over the viaduct from Bo’ness Station to Manuel and back.
We have space available on our train which leaves Bo’ness at 1900 with a further departure at 2015 which will be back at Bo’ness at approx 2125.
Celebrate National Picnic Week!
This is a lovely way to enjoy a summer’s evening and to add to the experience you can bring your own picnic to enjoy on board the train. Our On Train Buffet will be open for crisps, sweets and a selection of real ale and wine with soft drinks also available.
There’s nothing like a departure by steam and here’s a rare opportunity to do it in the evening light.
The Booking Office will be open on Bo’ness Station platform from 1800-1855 and tickets can be bought on the night.
Fares for both departures are:
Child (5-15) £6
Family (2ad and up to 3 ch) £28
• Discount vouchers, complimentary tickets, Annual membership cards & vouchers and other discount passes are valid for one return journey only. However Premier Life membership cards ARE valid on any train.
“This hidden gem is only 40 minutes drive from Glasgow and Edinburgh. The staff are really friendly and looked after us as we boarded a beautiful steam train, we saw heritage diesels too. The sights, smells and sounds really took us back in time. After a browse around the excellent Museum of Scottish Railways and a bite to eat in the Station Buffet we all agreed we would recommend it to everyone and we would definitely be back.”
