Father’s Day at the railway – always popular!

Visitors looking to treat Dad should make their way to Bo’ness on Father’s Day, Sunday, 17th June. As well as steam and heritage diesel trains there will be an array of vintage vehicles on display, also new for this year is pre-bookable Afternoon Tea on the 14.05 steam train. More details here.

The vintage vehicles will arrive from 10.30am in front of the station. There is an optional ‘run’ for the cars and their owners between 11.30am and 12.30pm. The Station Buffet will be open, serving delicious and great value meals, snacks and ice creams along with the Museum and the Model Railway as well as a delightful steam or heritage diesel train journey along our line.

New for 2012 at the site is the visitor routes which enable visitors to get an insight in to how the railway operates and takes in the new Display Shed, an additional 1500 sq m of display area.
