Also out over the weekend will be our railway’s full home fleet of No’7, No’19, No’1 Lord Roberts and No’6 on station pilot duties. The Museum of Scottish Railways will be open as will the visitor trail around the site, plus there will be a real ale bar on board trains, home-cooked food in the Station Buffet and sales stands.

ONLY 5 SPACES REMAINING! On Friday 20 October, there will be a photographer’s special using visiting steam locomotive GWR 0-6-2T No. 5643 which will feature at the head of both a mixed train and a freight train set during the day. This is a fantastic opportunity for photographers of any level. During the charter the participants will travel on the train to locations hand-picked by the organisers, themselves experienced photographers. As the Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway is not open to passenger trains on that day, those on the charter will have the rare opportunity to access trackside locations which are not normally available to everyone. For more information on the day (which must be pre-booked), contact Andrew Fowler on ONLY 5 SPACES REMAINING! (updated 21/9/17)
